Kim Stumpf was present at Gallery 2020,where she showed an installation at the Young&Belgian stand. She spoke to Label about her namesake label, her inspiration and an exciting upcoming collection she’s working on with retailer Galleria Inno. After winning ‘Mode in the City’, a competition run by Galleria Inno Antwerp and Flanders Fashion Institute, Stumpf’s collection is being produced by Inno and will be in stores April 1st. The personal collection is inspired by the women that surround her, her friends. Each item carries the name of the woman that served as inspiration. And since Stumpf’s friends have the habit of travelling the world, the fifteen-piece collection fits neatly inside one suitcase.
